 Clicker 5 is the latest version of this hugely popular writing support tool. It is an ideal literacy tool for struggling readers and writers. Clicker celebrated the millennium by winning the BETT Special Educational Needs Award for the fifth year! It is one of our favourite programmes. The software comes with its own talking, pictorial word processor and the unique system of Clicker Grids. Clicker 5 has a near human voice.

Children can write with words, phrases and pictures by using the mouse to click on words or pictures in the grid. Teachers can use the ready-made examples or easily create grids to meet their exact needs, using the templates provided. Clicker has extensive multimedia capabilities that allow children to make talking books and other presentations. It is very Internet-friendly, with hundreds of sets of resources available free on the Crick Software web site. A range of CD-based add-on applications for use with Clicker is also available.
